Exotic Fasteners acquired L.E. Borden and Fasteners in 2013. L.E. Borden, founded in 1946, has been a leader in the metal stamping industry for over 60 years. Lang Fastener, founded in 1972, was a division of L.E. Borden. Lang Fastener has built a reputation for excellence in the manufacture of “SEMS” screw and washer assemblies weld studs, tapping screws, TAPTITE II, TAPTITE 2000, and a variety of cold-headed fasteners.
Exotic Fasteners is capable of providing external specialty fasteners such as screws, bolts, and rivets in the diameter range of 5 to 16 mm and similar standard sizes, and lengths from 8 to 150 mm. These products are produced from low to medium carbon steels and from selected alloy steels.Exotic Fasteners is ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 registered and accredited to A2LA.
